Tangible Emotions with Sharea Jones

If you could touch an emotion what would it feel like?  If it had a smell would it be foul or desirable?  If your emotions were served to you on a plate would you tip your server?  Only if emotions were tangible ... since they are not Sharea Jones brings you her version of what emotions could do to ones senses.

Pain, Joy, Sharea Jones ... Touching Emotions through Common Voice.

What is respect?  Is it a feeling, an emotion?  Is it a situation or circumstance?  Is it a type of fear or authority?  Is it to be given freely or hidden carefully?  Maybe it's some long lost secret, some knowledge that all seek but don't know how to find.  Maybe that's why it's so hard to get and even tougher to give.  Respect must be unattainable.

Or is it?

When I see love it looks like you…love is tall and dark with smooth skin… love has soft lips, honey colored eyes and a broad smile.  When I hear love it sounds like you…love sounds deep and sexy in the morning and soft and loving at night…

Trust

When something happens that causes my trust to teeter I feel an emotion I
cannot name. If that emotion was a color it would be blue. Not the calming
blue of the sea or the bright blue of a baby's eyes, this blue is much deeper.

and mesmerizing with its shades of gray and thick clouds but also leaves you
feeling heavy and daunting. This is the kind of blue that warns you of what's
ahead and reminds you of storms past. This blue makes you think of hurricanes
and tornadoes, hoping it will only rain while preparing for a storm that may

Fear

When I feel unsafe in my world it's like dry bones crumbling in my hand.  I pick up the bones but they turn to sand at my touch.  If my feelings were a sound they would sound like those very same bones.  They would sound like twigs snapping, crunching and crumbling under my feet as I walk through this endless field of bones.  I can hear them cracking as they shift under my feet, testing my balance.  I can hear the sounds of rats and other small creatures deep in this graveyard, scurrying as my feet are sinking into the bone dust.  The sounds are loud and frightening, and the longer I walk through this place the harder it gets because the noise is becoming unbearable. This is the sound of fear.
